On R. Arthiritis

I have a friend that is suffereing from R. Arthiritis. This time around it is to the point that he cannot drive and is taking cabs all over. I'm wondering is there is anyone out here in the raw world who healed themselves of this or can recommend supplements/herbs or raw fruit/veggie combinations that would help in his suffering. He's in the Los Angeles area in case anyone knows of places he can go in L.A.
