I have a friend whose husband seems to be having a little problem and the wife wants to know if raw food will help.
He's eating about 65% raw and he's still on his bp medication but i was told it's having a negative effect where his preformace in concerned and the Doctor mentioned putting him on Viagra. Also can any herbs help and what about green smoothies?
She doesn't want him to do that so she needs some help.
She's a close friend so men and women please help me help her.

since its the drugs that are f*ing with him, he should concentrate on getting his blood pressure under control through diet and lifestyle changes, and the rest will take care of itself!
there are all sorts of herbal libido and sexual function remedies, but since his problem is not originating from some sort of internal imbalance, but rather because of the external substance (the meds) he is putting in his body, all efforts should focus on being rid of the external substance, and not loading down his body even more...

Raw will def help w/blood pressure and erectile dysfuntion it is a known side effects of bp meds. Six stalks of celery a day helps lower bp as does lifesyle changes both in diet and strss relief. He needs to lower his bp naturally if possible so he can get off the stinkin meds! NOT go on another one with OTHER side effects. Try Mukta Vati if necessary.

What is Mukti Vati? I've never heard of it.
Do you think i'm correct in telling her not to have him go on Viagra which his Doctor recommended?
She says he went from being a vegetarian to vegan and now he eats about 65% to 70% raw, the Doctor says he's much healthier than his other patients but his blood pressure is difficult to work with, somewhat unstable.
Thanks everyone for the help:D.

Raw beet juice will do wonders to stabalize his blood pressure. But go easy, as it is also a liver detox. I would do a couple of ounces several times per day. The celery is an excellent idea as are all foods that are rich in potassium. Also a good powder magnesium/calcium/Vit d supplement such as Ionic Fizz. Hope he gets everything under control:o

Here is a link for info on Mukta Vati...it worked for me. A year ago my Dr. wanted to put me on meds for borderline HBP...I said no, I'll take care of it myself and have. I also used a biofeedback "game" called Journey to the Wild Devine and listen to relaxation cds.
I also did the celery and beets in my juice.

Thanks for the info and the link.
My friends hubby listened to his Doctor about the Viagra and got some but he cut the tablet in half.
It's something to do with a vein that runs to the P---:) that the Doctor told him he needed to get it to reopen for the blood to flow better.
The pill did the work and the Doctor told him he might not have to do it for much longer because it was to jump start things again.
It was a matter of use it or lose it, i guess that means he has to have more s--:) with his wife to keeps things going.
But i'm going to tell her all the things you all said and i know that she doesn't want him taking bp medicine or the viagra.
Thanks so much.
