you should check out Morn's blog. She lost about 95 lbs. and she's been a real insparation to me. Also V. winters did a green smoothie fast and I think she lost about 100lbs.
There is also an obese raw foodist thread you can go to for support.
I myself have about 70 lbs to loose. I've lost 40 already. (in about 4 months)
Good luck to you:)

I need to lose lots of weight, but have already lost about 6 pounds in just a week doing raw. I would like others to post on their weight loss. Then I know I am not alone.

I've released 84 pounds in 7 months, only 35 pounds left till my goal.:D I think that's significant!!!:o
Congrats to everyone who's released weight & gained health!
redmountainfarm, raw is definitely the way to go!! You'll certainly lose all the weight you need. If you truly do have a whole lot to lose, come join us on the Obese Raw Foodist thread, it's a great little group, and you'll find lots of support.

I second that RadiantlyRaw: CONGRATS to everyone!!!!
I released 20lbs in the first month and feel absolutely fantastic. I only exercised very mildly once per week during that time. From my reading online I see that the usual is about 10lbs per month so I'm expecting this to taper off a bit, but honestly the health benefits outweigh it all. You'll see, hang in there and keep posting : ) :o

Many people lose weight very quickly on raw. I'm a slower loser, but I'm still pretty happy. I have lost 10 pounds per month since i began.(30 pounds in 3 months)
I have about 50 more to go! Join us, you'll love it!
I have lost a significant amount of weight over the last year and a half. Still struggling with those last 10 pounds. You can click on my signature line and it will show you pictures of my journey. You may also want to check out LavenderJ's blog. Remember that eating raw food is good but you need to also add in regular exercise as well! If you would like to join us there is a thread in the exercise section for March!
Best of luck with your journey toward health and raw foods!

I need to lose a lot.
Yes, I've released some weight on raw. About 40 Lbs. in two-three months with 150 Lbs. to go! Raw is definately the way to go for significant weight release as well as the healthiest lifestyle I've ever had. (By the way, the weight is still dropping off.) Just remember, the more raw, the better your success.
Good luck!

I find it kind of difficult to drop the weight. I mean I am just getting back into raw but I was raw 100% for four months n had very little weight loss and anytime I did loose as soon as I ate nuts it came back. Even on a 14 day juice fast I only lost 10 pounds but that came right back and then some after I ate again. I don't get it. Has anyone else experienced this?
