how do i store my raw cacao beans?

I have them in a air tight container away from any heat....in the kitchen.
DO they need to be stored in the fridge?

If not....would they stay fresher longer in the fridge...or would the cold change their flavour?

I keep mine in a canning jar in the fridge. The cold does not effect their flavor, but an unsealed container might let in fridge smells.

Mine are in the freezer in a freezer baggie.

I keep everything in there. I live in a very humid climate.

Mine are sitting in the bag they came came in and I don't always seal it! lol I'm running out of glass jars or i'd keep them in one on my countar!
