I have a cheapie dehydrator and it doesn't come with teflex sheets and I can't find them in the store. It's one of those $40 round dehydrators from Walmart.

Does anyone know if I could use parchment paper instead? It is safe for baking but I didn't know if the teflex was something special that would make a difference.

If anyone has one of these could you let me know what you do for making bread and cracker type things?

Thank you.

Oooops sorry. I just found some older threads that say parchment paper is ok to use.

I did a banana search and didn't find anything but apparently I didn't use the right word combination.

Sorry.

I use parchment paper in my little 4 tray Excalibur. It works fine for crackers and breads. You'd just have to cut the pieces to fit your dehydrator.
