I found this site from NaturalNews about something called Juicefeasting. It's where you eat nothing but fruit and veggie juices and whole-food supplements for 92 days--or forever if you want. To me, it looks likes step up from raw solid foods. I hope to do this someday. I would have to detox by eating raw foods first.

Anyone heard of this or has done/is doing it?

Yes, I'm on day 14 and going strong. And I thought I couldn't fast. I'm not fasting, I'm feasting!:)

Oh, also, my eating habits were getting pretty sloppy before I did this; I was back to eating junk food. I managed to jump from that right into the juice feast. Their protocol really helps people to deal with detoxing.

have you observed any weight loss. If yes, how much could I expect to lose on juice feasting versus fasting.

Thanks

Well, one big reason I'm doing the juice feast is because I really can't afford to not work and have to have the energy to do housecleaning, which hasn't been a problem with this at all. Not saying I don't detox but it's bearable. I just haven't been able to stick with eating raw 100% and I'm doing this to break the chains of compulsive overeating. I'm 5'4" and started at 153 lb. I've lost ten pounds in 14 days. Perhaps I'd lose more with a regimen with less juice and less calories but I don't know how well I'd function. So, I'm pleased with that.

Thanks Stina

The 10 lbs is a pretty good weight loss. Congrats. I have stuck to juice fasting because I wanted to jump start my weight loss. I feel a little tired but I have far more energy than when I first started.

I might end up feasting another additional 10 days after my 30 days fast.
