Many grains and beans may be sprouted and eaten raw.
I've heard that many raw foodists don't eat beans and grains and so I'm wondering if there is any difference if they were sprouted?
Is it best just to eat fruits, veg, nuts/seeds?
Thanks

Ultimately, you'll need to be your own scientist and experiment with what works for you. Alissa's book has comprehensive lists on what can and can't be sprouted. I find I do very well with sprouted grains but that sprouted beans hurt my stomach. Not mung though.

I sprout red lentils, mainly. Sometimes I'll sprout green... mung are more difficult to sprout and I hate the taste:o
Sprouted red lentils.... taste amazing, and are so easy to sprout; you can have them done the next morning if you start the following evening! They're full of digestive enzymes, and become quite soft. Careful of putting too much water, though, or it will deter the process.
