I've been using tooth soap instead of "regular" toothpaste for about a month and a half now. I love it and love the way it makes my mouth/teeth feel, but I have a question. It's not minty at all, even though it's the "peppermint" one. It just tastes like soap (boy did that take some getting used to!), so I'm guessing it doesn't freshen breath. I'm single, so I don't have anyone to ask if my mouth is yucky smelling! Does anyone who uses tooth soap and isn't single have an answer on this? And if it doesn't help freshen breath, are there any raw alternatives to mouthwash? I'll use gum if I have to (for dates and stuff), but I'd rather have something that's better for me than gum. Any input would be awesome. thanks!

Yes, I love my new tooth soap. What I really love are the oils in the soap that leave my lips soft & moisturized most of the day! Also, it takes just one thin silver of soap to get a mouthful of lather. My jar will last a very long time so it's worth the price.

Toothsoap rocks!!!! I love it, but all of us here already knew that ;)

As for the breath freshening thing, I use mint flavored dental floss and that helps a bit. If not, a couple drops of Binaca does the trick.
