What is it - i am not sure if i know what happiness is - and after discussing it briefly with my friends i got mostly few shrugs and ..."you know"... and
some philosophical statements.
How would you describe happiness on raw. Did you find it?
How it is different?
I am one of those sad kids that never believed in Santa, red all the books about dinosours and big bang, found refuge in computers and solitude in nature, than discovered arts and spirituality, love
Raw gave me new edge, new peace, shaped my emotions - i explore happiness....help.

Wow, don't know if I can find the right words here, but I'll try. Let's see...
Happiness to me is totally BEING in the moment, and in that moment enjoying exactly what I'm doing! Okay, so maybe that's a slice of happiness.
In the bigger picture, I view my own happiness, or "happy feelings", by how I'm doing in the present measured by certain expectations (not too tightly constrained either ;) ) and, really, how that links to the past, i.e. looking back on my life/progress with NO regrets! More importantly is looking FORWARD with anticipation that life will be filled with moments as described above. If not, tweaks are in order. :) To me happiness is a state of being as much as it is an internal feeling.
To explain further...feeling happy can be passive, meaning I strive to be open to the universe to allow for new experiences. But, at times it's also active, meaning I have the power to reinvent and create my life as I want it to be.
On Raw - all of this is heightened and sharpened with a much better sense of clarity...and calm.

happiness is all those things.
and
on raw there seems to come a peacefulness.
i think happiness, true, happiness, requires/needs some element of peacefulness so you are content with whatever is your reality..

Happiness and peace and gratitude and love go hand in hand for me. It has been a lot easier on raw than any other time in my life to truly be AT PEACE. Being peaceful brings me great happiness and makes me feel connected to everyone and everything. The colors of the earth are much more vibrant to me and I take a moment to stop and look up at the clear blue sky or at the massive redwood in my backyard, it's limbs moving in the wind or at a white butterfly floating past me. Everyone looks beautiful to me now. Especially when they're beautiful from the inside and vibrate in kindness, compassion and love. I no longer am completely focused on external beauty when I see it, it's a package deal now. I believe JOY is the feeling you attain when you're at peace with yourself, your life and the world.
