I came across this on a web site and looked like a pretty neat tree with edible fruit. It is different than the arbutus unedo, strawberry tree. That one you can eat it's fruit but they say the fruit can make some people tipsy. I guess it makes a good wine. But the one I'm intersted in learning about is the Chinese Strawberry tree. Anybody grow one and is the fruit good tasting?

No fruit yet. Nice tree. I have no idea what the fruit tastes like. I try to plant anything edible that will grow in Florida. So far so good with the tree.

Time2bloom4me, Did you have a tree yourself? I heard that they're a very pretty tree for the yard and some on the web said they liked it's fruit.

Citrus of course. Mullberries! They are great and there is a dwarf mullberry that produces fruit 9 months a year.
Moringa - nice tree and great greens.
Loquat - just found out about one that produces fruit before Xmas. The ones I have get frozen out every year. These new ones will be in my yard this year!
Blueberries, blackberries, figs, raspberries. Peaches, nectarines, plums. I love have peach trees next to orange trees!
That is my list of periennal plants that produce food. I think!
