My nose feels positively bulbous and has been drippingno,--no-- running like a darned faucet (!) all day.
1--I've been very high raw for 14 mos.--this wasnt' supposed to happen with my improved immune system. I avoided getting a cold from dh before Christmas. I have no idea where this one came from!
2--I read in one of Joel Fuhrman's books that fasting is a good way to get rid of colds in hurry. I water fasted today. 'Any one have exerience with this approach?
Garlic is great to boost the immune system. Take a couple cloves before going to bed. It's gross and you stink, but it's worth it.

Master Cleanse lemonade!
or--ACV with honey and water and cayenne
or--gargle some cayenne
or all three!
Works like a charm!

There is no such thing as a "cold". (I always wonder where that name came from).
You are detoxing. Your body, in all it's miraculousness is doing what it is supposed to do ~ get rid of poisons in your system. Amazing creature isn't it?
You can assist the process by drinking plenty of warm fluids with lemon juice to break-up the mucus.
One of my guests on RawkinRadio (it's not up at this moment; changing hosting companies) said this works fast: Add a teaspoon or so of salt to about a half-gallon of water; gulp it down; go outside and gulp it back up and out. Suggestion: don't let the neighbors see you.
She said this will cleanse your system quickly.

So sorry to hear about your cold! I'll be praying that your body can flush everything out quickly.

Thanks, ladies! Actually I fasted yesterday and felt lots better today! Really. I was surprised. It was Joel Fuhrman's suggestion and it helped. I'll fast again on Thursday, and that may kick the rest of it out.
Revvell, I just don't think I'm up for that salt water thing just now, but I thank you for the suggestion. I know you to be very wise about things.
