I'm going in SIX DAYS! I will have the opportunity to visit more than once, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Post pictures if you have them!
Lots of raw love :)

Everything that looks good! I are like a pig there, deciding to worry abut the consequences later. (There were none). There was a Thai coconut soup that I wasn't wild about, but I'm glad I tried it. I ordered pizza and almond milk. People that I was there with got wraps and things which I tasted. I zeroed in on several desserts. The terra missu (sp??) was absolutely divine! I got some of their chocolates for later as well. Just have a ball. Go crazy! Be prepared to take some home.:D :D

You cannot go wrong there. Every thing is great. My favorite is ' I am accepting' ( kale/seaweed salald) or ' Yo Soy mucho' ( mexican bowl) and ' I am cool' ( mint chocolate milkshake). You must try the dessert YUM!!!!!! before you leave you must order the almond joy or fudge.
I had the 'I am elated' which is a enchilda dish. I am not to crazy about seeds and nuts but it was good. Also the pizza are great. Or you can order the sample platter. Sorry dont have picture but many were posted on this site

Everything is good! My boyfriend gets the enchilada almost every time. My favorite thing is their coffee milkshake - the one with the ice cream in it, not the smoothie kind. If they have white chocolate cheesecake you must order it! The cheesecake type changes daily. The I am Bliss chocolate hazelnut pie is also out of this world. My top 3 entrees are the taco salad, burger and the pizza with pineapple on it (I am mahalo). Enjoy!
BTW, they should have a stack of free magazines called Common Ground. Inside is a 10% off coupon.

OHH WOW
OH, WOW.
I just found out that my hotel is...wait for it...TWO BLOCKS FROM CAFE GRATITUDE!
-dances-
Huzzah!
Edit: I looked at their menu online...are the grain bowls raw?

Hummus!! It's soooo delicious!
Oh oh oh oh and get the Chai shake! That is my hands down fave drink at the cafe! it's sooo delicious!
Also--Cafe Gratitude has a pre-made take-out fridge...be careful with it! My bf and I bought some Caesar salads to go and we got reallllly sick later because the salads had been made the morning before and had been sitting out all night! I didn't notice the date on the package was the previous day :(

The grain bowls are not raw - they have cooked quinoa or red rice. The sushi one is really yummy with quinao - and i have had them make it with extra kale and no quinoa before as well.

hey kaleidescope,
are you back in LA? i'm in Santa Monica this week and was gonna send you an email to see if you'd be at Juliano's tomorrow. too funny that you're in the Bay Area. sorry I missed your post...
i usually order the pesto pizza (i am sensational) and definately the cacao smoothie (i am luscious). everything Cafe Gratitude has on the menu is really good. not everything is raw like the quinoa and some soups.
i'll drop you a note to see if you're back in town.
peace,
Crystal

The raw pumpkin pie was absolutely amazing! It was the best pie I ever tasted cooked or raw!

I absolutely loved 'I am Bold' a spicy tomato drink! I've been trying to find a place locally that can make this- I've even tried to make it- but nothing tastes better in the world to me than their yummy tomato juice!!! (I believe it has carrot and celery in there as well-not sure though.)
If you are a tomato freak like me, please indulge for both of us:D

After going through all your opinions on Cafe gratitude (http://www.boorah.com/restaurants/RestaurantSearch.do?restaurantName=Cafe+Gratitude&restaurantLocation=SF%2C+CA) I am eager to visit it. It seems to be a great raw food restaurant.;)

I live next to the one in San Rafael. I usually order the I Am Festive which is the Taco Salad. LOVE IT! I sub the spicy sauce with cashew dressing. I also really like the Pad Thai but the new chef who made it on my last visit made it wrong (a vinegary salad) and I was very disappointed. Hopefully that won't happen again!
I choclate bliss balls are to die, oops I mean live for!!!:D
