So glad I have a deep well and a reverse osmosis for the entire home water supply now. Even with a well you have to consider that perhaps your neighbors drug's are in your well water! But one thing that you have to think about too is the fact that fluoride and chlorine in most municipal water supplies is just as deadly as the drug's are deadly!

I found out the water there had 23 chemicals in it. 15 were to kill the taste of the rest of them. It takes that many chemicals to clean up city water with the current mind set.
All one needs to do it fill a glass with water and let it evaporate. Then try to guess what the white film is.

i heard this reported on npr about 5 years ago
they knew. it's not new news.
that the water treatment plants do not remove the drugs from the wastewater
and how many people are taking legal drugs today: from birth control to hi bp meds to anti depressants to ridlin and forget chemo! ...... on & on
proven is that the fish are already depressed & not reproducing as they used to from just this pollution.
geez they are all on the 'pill' and anti hyperactivity stuff...
and bottled water.... no better

I work in an industry that's dealing with this issue. I can say that there may be some methods to remove the medicines through the treatment process but it's not that easy. One medication can require one method of cleaning, another medication can require another method of cleaning and so on.
Additionally, the AP is painting this as if the water and wastewater agenices are hiding information from the public, which is a totally inaccurate.

The amount of time it takes for the media to get info to people is so frustrating. We know everything about every celebrity and everything about every weird crime case, but the real news is left behind. I read about this several years ago in a science journal that was talking about how human drugs in the water system are causing deformities in frogs and fish. Cleaning them up is good, but lets try not to use them so much and keep some of our chemical waste out of the environment. Not a popular plan with drug companies for sure!

Does that mean if everybody would go raw and stop seeing doctors that we would have vitamin water instead? :) I know....there's no way to make a joke around this subject at all. :( It's disgusting and entirely created by the hand of humans. What else is new. I hope by bringing it to light in this age of internet sharing that something more will be done due to demand/pressure. I'm trying to be optimistic.

Since going raw back in the beginning of January, I didn't think about my water intake. However, reading those articles I went to pay more attention to that.
What water do you people drink? Purified? Distilled? Bottled? What is the raw food and healthy way to get water?
I live in a rural town where we have our own water well taking water from a natural source so I guess this water is pretty good for me. Am I right?
How about when I take a trip in town? Should I bring enough water never to have to drink this drugged up water?
