I blew it - I just had a big chocolate bar.......I was doing so good too. The thing is that I wasn't really craving the chocolate in particular - I was just having an afternoon lul and needed a pick me up. Of course I had no ready snacks on me so I just cracked.... I am sure lots of you have done that in the beginning. Do I have to start all over again with the detox etc?

Just pick up where you left off, we've all slipped. If you've been eating 100% and then you eat one cooked thing you'll probably feel it tomorrow and maybe the day after that (slight hangover), but then your body will go back to its regular raw state. No worries. If you're feeling a bit sick tomorrow just eat lightly, or juice.

Whatever you do, don't let that chocolate bar be an excuse to pig out on cooked food for the rest of today! That could be a slippery slope.

And next time you get a chocolate urge, try whipping up this tasty snack, takes about 2 minutes to make:

Little Pudding Cup:

1 T raw carob or cacao
1 T raw tahini
1 T raw honey
1/2 - 1 T water

Mix it all together and eat.

Great thing and advise shared. You can pick up where you left off. At least you were able to identify the slip. Keep moving forward. You are hanging in and didn't quit. Many have been there before you so it's an individual journey. Go girl!

Oh - Rawmonger that sounds good....I have not really experimented with a lot yet. I have only been raw for about 11 days and have just kept it simple, friuts, veggies and seeds......I will try this!

No worries! Lasting lifestyle changes can take time. Remember it is all about progress, not perfection! Be gentle with yourself and focus on all the yummy raw foods you really, really love! Raw is NOT about deprivation. It is about deliciousness and abundance and vibrance and life. Don't worry. There is plenty of time.
