My cat thinks she is a Raw Vegan...

...but I know better. She's a meat-eater... it's in her nature and much healthier for her, but she LOVES it when I'm eating fruits and veggies. She'll literally try to knock me over for a banana!

She's enjoying her first watermelon today....LOL

I'd post a photo, but I don't know how to do that here in a post. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks!

lanettasmouse - It's true! Really! Glad you find it funny... I do too! I have to sneak eating bananas if I don't want to share. And, believe me...if I don't give her a little bite after EVERY bite I take, she REALLY lets me know.

I have nicknamed her "Monkey" because of her banana obsession.

I have even tried hiding the banana (in the peel still) under my arm, etc. She ALWAYS knows....

Hopefully I'll figure out the photo thing here or somewhere else on the forum.

This is a photo of one of my other cats, Dharma, eating a peach. I have TWO wierdo fruit-eating cats! LOL (The photo is a big large...sorry...will try to reduce the next ones.)

This is the closest I'll ge to taking pictures of my cats eating raw. I just can't even think of photographing them eating raw meat...blech!:eek:

I'd love to see any photos out there of other cats eating raw fruits and veggies!

I love your photo! That is just too cute!!! I thought my cats were the only ones attracted to vegan! One of cats will wake up from a totally different room than I am in if I start to peel my carrots or slice a cucumber. Man does he go nuts for tomatoes! I have to push him away just so I can slice one. Funny thing is he likes the smell of the cucumbers and carrots but if I give them to him he just sits there smelling them but he will actually cry for the tomatoes! I'll have to get a photo to post.

my cat loves cabbage and avocados. i used to have a great dane and he would stare and salivate if i ate fruit in front of him. oranges, bananas, and watermelon. I would cut a watermelon in half, throw it in the back yard and let him go at it. it was so funny- danes look so regal when they laying down - and heres my dogs, looking regal and drooling watermelon juice.
