Hi,
I don't know what do I eat.
I do not know what to do about candida, should I eat fruit or not? What type of fruit should I eat? What should I eat on daily basis? Should I drink water and how much? What juices should I drink? Could you please tell me what other things I should know about?
I take spirulina+chlorella, and oil oregano .
I see many contradictions,Dr.Douglas Graham -The 80/10/10 Diet, but the other people more veggie and grains.
What about is your opinion?

Hi Harmony,
If you do a search (look for the banana at the top of the page) on candida you will find many threads here discussing that very issue!
Congratulations on discovering raw and welcome!
Blessings,

Many of us, including Alissa herself, experienced relief just from going raw in general.

I'm another one in this boat...just going raw, period (no restrictions on fruit, nuts or anything else raw) did the trick!

Ditto here too. Lots of fruit, veggies, very little fats though. Dried fruit.

You should be able to get rid of it by just being raw. Possibly not too much high sugar fruits or dry fruits, but you can probably still have some.

So, how do you know you have candida? Because the symptoms seem like they would apply to anyone...I had always assumed I had chronic yeast infections, took anti-yeast herbs and nystatin and followed a strict low-carb diet for over a year with no relief. Then my tests showed that I didn't have an infection but a hormone and autoimmune-related rash that cleared with cortisone cream (which I hated to use but totally grateful for it). Anyway, I could have live on just meat until I killed myself :-) and it wouldn't have helped me stop itching. Hoping we will all be healed on raw without need for meds!

That's a very good point, Clare! The (many) symptoms of candida are SO very broad...they could be attributed to just about ANY-thing and not always necessarily candida.

I know I have it because of vaginal yeast infections that wouldn't go away without several treatments. I was bloated and pale with dark circles under my eyes and too tired to go to work. I am feeling MUCH better now (70% raw with no sugar, flour, not going overboard on the fruit). And my digestive and other symptoms are worse when I'm itching, so I'm pretty sure the yeast is to blame for most (if not all) of my health problems.
