I've gotten it on Ebay but I now get it at my health food store. I rarely need it now though. Had dry skin a lot in NY but don't seem to get it much here.

thats great you don't suffer with dry skin. I do alot. My HFS doesn't carry it, and I don't do Ebay, but thanks.

Any other good on line source? Whole foods has it but wants my whole paycheck, and Trader Joes' doesn't carry raw.

Thanks:)

Hey there! Thanks, but I don't do Amazon, either.

I'm meaning more like a retailer store. Does anybody know what I mean?

Allyssa doesn't sell it, eaither!:(

ok, i just went to wildernessfamilynaturals.com and went under their serach products category and typed in shea butter and brought up a bunch of stuff too. they have a plain one thats 32 oz for $25.40. but other than that maybe try naturalzing. they both are really great sites. hope you find something

You're just TOO sweet, thank you very very much.
I went the sites. The first one didn't have raw Shea Butter, but the second one did and so that is cool!

honestly i have no clue! i know shea butter can be used on the skin, but i don't know if it can be eaten like coconut butter can. i personally use coconut oil and love it. and i get it from wildernessfamilynaturals as well.

I agree that WF charges a lot of shea butter. I use shea butter for my skin and hair. I buy mines at a local health food store. Also there was a time i was into making my own lotions and soap. i bought the shea butter from a local wholesaler.

I was just cruising through the old threads here, and ran across this one!
Anyhow, I get my raw unrefined shea butter at www.sheabutterhut.com
Excellent quality, very reasonable in price, and prompt shipping as well. This is the best shea butter I've tried and I've been using various ones since 2001. The Shea Butter Hut's one I like the best though.
I use it for making my own face balm, and for a body butter. The body butter that I make also makes a great leave-in, pre-shampoo conditioner as it has the shea butter, and extra-virgin coconut oil in it which are really fab for naturally curly hair. Color-treated hair likes this too, as both of these oils put natural vitamins and proteins back into the hair and give it volume, naturally!
