I just made Alissa's tomatoe soup and man is it hooooot!!! I guess the one clove of garlic is just way too hot for me. Any suggestions for what to add to it to tame it down??

Maybe avocado or lemon juice or add more water & tomatoes.

Just leave out whatever was too hot? raw garlic can have a bit of a kick but I guess we eat so much around here I never notice it! :p

Just use half a garlic clove, or you can make it ahead and leave the garlic clove whole in it, and then remove it. You will have the garlic essence, but it will be a lot lighter on the heat.
