Hi!

Back in '01 I became a raw vegan. I lost a lot of weight and looked great, but after awhile I just left the lifestyle. Fast forward to today, I'm 30 pounds overweight and started raw again last week-end.

This time, however, I'm not vegan. Over the past years I started eating raw dairy and I love it and refuse to give it up! You can call me a "Carol Alt" raw foodist!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I've forgotten a lot of what I learned years ago, so I know Ill post a lot on other threads!

Welcome to the board and welcome back to Raw. Is there anything specific that make you want to be raw? Health, Weight Loss etc..

Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

jacsam and Starfire: I'm glad y'all like my name! My dog, "Crumb", eats only raw food, so my name is in honor of him!

docsharp: Weightloss is big on my list, but staying heathly is right up there, too. My sister just had her thyroid removed due to cancer. I'm hoping that as I become more and more into raw, she'll want to try it, too. Of course, I want to avoid going through what she's going through.

jacsam: I'll have to order Allissa's book. Should I really get the DVD, too? What's on it? I'm going to also order a few products from her.

I looove your fur baby's name!!! sooo cute!

and yes ABSOLUTELY... YOU WILL LOOOVE the DVD! It's like having Alissa standing right there in your kitchen giving your private lessons on her recipes!.... The two gals in the video with her - at the end they show their 30 day transformation - and you will be astonished... (or at least I was!) during my first 30 days - I even took the DVD to work with me and when I would feel like I wanted to waiver - or felt a craving -- I would put that dvd in and just stare at their before and after pictures... if they could do it - then so could I!!

oh - and her chocolate sauce is OMG AMAZING...!!!
