I've read many posts about people who have binging, overeating, and emotional eating issues, I am one of them. And even when exhibiting this behavior while raw, it is still not good at all.

I've decided I want to go and talk to someone and I am going to be getting a form of hypnotherapy called EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques.

Does anyone have experience with this? It is not only for eating issues, it can be used from everything from stress, anxiety to quitting smoking. If you do can you let me know your experiences?

and used it much until I had my stroke last March. For some reason, now I have problems trying to do it. That is my fault and certainly NOT due to EFT. I have all the CD's and hope to get back to it soon. I really think that EFT would be beneficial for getting over some of the lingering aspects from the stroke.

I've gotten the videos and tried it on myself. Some really great stories from people that used it. I think they have a video on the website to see how it works.

i'll have to check this out. i've been married to ed (bulimia) for about a decade, and i can't handle it anymore. i'm going to an ed group tonight and another next tuesday. i'm hoping they'll be weekly things. i'm also going to see ANOTHER therapist next week. it is the worst thing in the world when i want so badly to be healthy, but at the same i time i feel like i don't know HOW to f***ing eat. eating (or not) consumes my thoughts and it's agonizing having this secret life. sigh. anyway, i'm gonna check this out...thanks.

I def understand where u r coming from. These past 2 years I have been obsessed with weight and obsessed with food my entire life. I just want to free my mind from it once and for all. Ill let u know how it works out!
