Slivered Almonds Raw?

Someone asked me the other day if slivered almonds were raw. My guess is prob not. Are they blanched? Or were they raw before they started pasteurizing them?

The only slivered ones I've seen were blanched so they wouldn't be raw.

Hmmmm, I just purchased a bag of raw slivered almonds from my local health food store.

in order to remove the skins and then sliver them, they do blanch almonds.
