soak almond meal?

so i have some raw almond meal on the way in which i hope to make some almond butter. should i soak the almond meal first? if so, should i let it dry out before i grind it. thanks!

I wouldn't think so. Whole almonds are soaked to sprout them and get the enzymes out. Whole almonds are also used to make nut butter. You could probably make it from almond meal but it might not be so fresh tasting. It's also probably not raw unless you made it yourself.
