I felt my throat getting sore two nights ago... it came on suddenly. Now I have achey head/eyes, sore ears, some definite throat mucous... and a sore throat. I have been eating today mainly to keep something on my throat. Normally I would have been having pop and losenges... but not anymore. Anyways, I've been eating and I'm full to busting. But my throat is scratchy and sore. Just wondering if perhaps I'm not doing all I can to help with my body getting out whatever it needs to get out. Should I be doing fresh juices instead of eating while I'm feeling poorly?? I bet if I had a tonn of juices my throat would feel nice. What do you think??

Yes, whenever your body is having symptoms, it's always best to NOT eat...allow your body to expend it's energy towards healing and not digesting. So, rest as much as possible and eat very minimally (water and fresh juices are good and even light, juicy fruits) but you just want to give your body a rest from digestion so it can heal. I read before that the scratchy throat, believe it or not, is a signal from body to actually try and get you to stop eating! ;)

wow... is that right?? Sounds like maybe my intuitions is actually starting to make an appearance huh? Unfortunately I can't really rest much... due to working every day and also having to be going all night with my puppy... but I will try to eat less solids and do some drinking. Thanks Rawkinlocs... I really *thought* that was the right thing to do... just wasn't sure.

Do you know of some good tasting juices?
