I hope to do a 5 day water fast and would like to know if the SW flush is recommended as it is with MC. If so, how often should I do it. Should I include water enemas? Would anyone recommend a professional colonic irrigation in lieu of an at home enema? Thanks

any of the above.
do a SWF twice... day 3 and day 6 before you start eating again.

You can do a SWF every day on a water fast. It really helps.
You don't need a colonic or enema if you do the SWF.

Wow I had the same question this morning. I'm I'm thinking about doing a 3 day water fast and was wondering about the SWF. Thank you so much sissaphus for asking the question and thank you rawstrength and recycling goddess for sharing your wisdom.

So what, exactly, is a SWF?

you take some celtic sea salt and add it to 1 quart of warm water. add as much as the water will take (you'll know when it no longer dissolves)... then drink it down.
stay home near the toilet... it'll start working within a couple of hours!

Thanks, goddess. I have a couple of days off at the end of the month while my kitchen is being tiled. I'll try it then.

As a pain in the bu**- oh never mind, I mean as inconvenient as enemas are and unpleasant, I'm going to stick with them instead of the salt water flushes. David and Katrina from the global juice feast board consider them detrimental to our health because of salt absorption.
I consider colon hydrotherapy the best route but it's cost prohibitive.
