Kitty Grasses

Does anyone grow grass for their feline such as wheatgrass, barley, flax, etc.? I don't understand how beneficial it could be for the kitten or cat if these grasses are at their peak level in nutrients for about a week (esp wheatgrass. it even starts to turn yellow after a week or so). So I'm curious to know how the more experiences people do it.........?
