I believe this show airs tomorrow (Tuesday Mrch 4) but the slide show is available below.
It goes through testing various myths, one of which includes the 'Zoo Diet' which has people eating like our ancestors, on fruits, veggies, nuts. Raw....check it out for yourself.
I think Dr.Oz is a closet Rawbie myself.:p

I also have the impression that Dr.Oz is a closet rawbie.
Followed another link to the Oprah show, from the site 'We Like it Raw',
and he seems very supportive of a raw or mostly raw diet.
I'm going to check out the show tomorrow.
Thanks for posting the link.:)

Yes thank you!!! Can't wait to catch the show!! The more ppl who know about raw the better... I break my heart when I hear "so and so has X disease".

Well, I'm curious to see how they present it, really. I mean, before that segment they talk about dairy as a calcium source, and after they talk about fish as an omega 3 source.
He does do green smoothies for breakfast I heard him say once. Gave a recipe and everything.
If you can sift through the nonsense, there is a lot of valuable info though....but I'm afraid because it's sandwiched inbetween to counter-to-raw suggestions, that the msg will be mostly lost.
Guess we'll see!

Dr. Oz is not 100% raw but he promotes alot of raw. I think he feels that 100% raw is not the best for most people . I know he eats a fair amount of raw because my dad is his personal chef and he makes him green juices and a few raw dishes every week. He is mostly vegan but he also eats some fish I think. But he definitly beleives in the benenfits of raw food.

Your Dad is his personal chef!!?? That's exciting...
...and there is a cooking class in New Market so I've heard on this site....but I'm sure you could find one a little closer to you.
