Soaked prunes are often recommended as one of the first "meals" to eat after fasting. Do I really have to eat them?
I have two qualms about eating soaked prunes:
A) they are not raw
B) yuck!
Why soaked prunes?

You don't have to eat anything that you don't want to or don't like!! :D
I for one don't soak nuts or dried fruits. I know all of the arguments about soaking them, blah, blah, blah, but I don't LIKE them soaked and I am not going to eat them SOAKED!! I like them just the way they are.

Hi rawstrength....do you have a dehydrator? If so, maybe you can make your own prunes? Just dried plums, really. That's a euphemism for you! Ha! I am going to be breaking a juice fast within the next few days also, and I can only do what I find palatable...I have struggled w/nausea throughout most of this week, and I can't tolerate some items either. Be well!
