Recently I've tried Alissa's BBQ chicken fingers and crabcakes, and they are absolutely amazing! Props to her for coming up with such great recipes. I was starting to get bored with the usual fruits and veggies so decided to go a little more gourmet, and these definitely satisfied my cravings. My only question is for those of you who makes these, how long do they usually last for you? I'm finding that I'm craving them so much that they're gone within a day or two. I wouldn't have a problem with that if I didn't have to keep making more of them.........do any of you double the recipes for these, or am I just crazy in my cravings? Oh, and I can add the carrot cake in there as another terrific recipe!

I don't think there's any problem in eating a lot of raw BBQ chicken fingers. Double the recipe, why not. I happen to love the Kale Salad from Alissa's book. The salad fills a large mixing bowl and I usually eat the entire thing in one night. I used to worry about it but now I don't. In essence, I'm just eating a head of kale, one tomato, and two avocados. That may be a lot of kale but I'm sure some people drink that much in a smoothie in the morning. I know that answer wasn't about the chicken fingers, sorry.

I ordered the 9-tray off of Alissa's website. They weren't actually crispy, but still delicious! I just put them in before I went to bed at night and took them out about midday the next day.........didn't really do an exact timing for them.

My dehydrated stuff goes fast too! I usually have one dehydration project going every Friday night: crackers, breads, patties or whatever. If I have leftovers I freeze them.
