Has anyone had this? I bought a tray of wheatgrass a few weeks ago and it was nice and green. I've been watering daily, but now the grass is turning lighter and lighter. Could it be from lack of sunlight? Or should I water it more?

Also, are they in dirt? You might be watering them too much, especially if they aren't in the sun.

Yes.. they're in a tray of dirt. That means I shouldn't water them too much?

wheatgrass is supposed to be consumed right away. i believe within 5 days? i can't remember where i read that. but once it's fully grown (about 3-4") it needs to be consumed.

There is some node on the plant that when it appears or moves, that's when you cut your crop.
As for watering it - test the soil with your finger. If it's wet, don't water it. Wait until it's just damp. A little on the dry side.
