Orange Julius!

I just made a drink that my 10 yo son said tastes just like the Orange Julius he gets at the mall. He tries all my creations but hasn't liked many so this is a big deal to me that he asked for 2nds.

1 cup cold water
1 cup ice
2 oranges
Stevia (I used 2 packets)

Blend on whole juice setting in Blendtec or VM. It's yummy!

That's what my friend said this morning about the juice I made. It was mostly orange juice with a little lemon and pineapple. It was so delicious and refreshing and surprizingly creamy.
What kind of equipment did you make yours with? I used my new Greenstar to discover it doesn't handle citrus well; it got clogged up with the pulp. So I threw it in the Vitamix blender and squeezed it through a nut mylk bag.

I have a Blendtec blender that I just love! It has a Whole Juice setting and blends items so smooth there's not even any pulp. I can put whole carrots in my smoothies and you can't even tell. It's easier for me than using my juicer plus I get all the benefits. I've never had a VM but I've heard they don't liquefy carrots this way. So I just stuck the 2 oranges in and didn't need to strain it.
