can anyone help me?

i want to be able to send someone some raw food thru the mail.
and it's a loooong way away.
does anyone know how to send a perishable box thru the usps?
and is dry ice something you would use, where can i get it?
any help would be soooo appreciated

Contact your local usps and they can best give you advice on how to ship. I would use dry ice and double insulate the package with foam. Our local Meijer store has a cooler of dry ice in the front of the store. Call around to some of your local chain grocery stores or party stores. Failing that, you could check in the yellow pages under dry ice. NOTE: ALWAYS wear thick gloves when handling dry ice. You do not want to get dry ice burns on your skin.
