View Full Version : E3 live - any thoughts or experiences?

I would like to buy one supplement or superfood that will give me a bit of extra zing! I am trying to be 100% raw every day and am doing very well and I know my health is better for it.
Trouble is, I have a demanding job and find it difficult to 'switch off' and as a result feel physically and mentally drained at the end of each day. My 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone'!!!!!!
I've been reading reviews of E3 Live which seem generally good but to be honest I am a bit funny/squeamish about eating something that is scraped off a lake!! Is it slimy? Does it taste fishy? What's the best way to take it?
Has anyone had a positive (or negative) experience with E3 Live?
If you could recommend one thing I could take on a daily basis (on top of the raw food diet) that would give me a noticeable boost, what would it be?
Thanks.

Hi Tracy,
I know exactly what u mean....and was so excited to find E3Live!!! When i was in Fort Bragg a month ago, i visited the Living Light culinary school, and spent hours looking in their store and thats when i spotted E3Live!
The woman who worked there explained all the many benefits and how it really does something spectacular to your brain as for alertness and clarity.
So much better than caffeine could ever do, and its healthy for you!
I was convinced of buying some, very expensive, 16oz for 40$
and they recommend 1oz every morning on an empty stomach, like u would taking a shot of wheat grass. It looks, smells and tastes just like wheat grass but i definatly prefer the taste of E3Live to wheatgrass anyday. Its much sweeter.
I dont take it everyday, just because of the cost. but i have to say that i have noticed a difference in my headaches. I dont know if its pychological, but i am able to stay alert all morning w/out that desire of having coffee, and i never feel the need to take my meds for headaches on mornings i take the E3Live!!
So i definatly recommend it if u can afford it!!!

Anybody with blood type A taking this supplement? Algae 's supposed to be a no-no for my blood type but I'm more interested in hearing some experiences with it.
It's also good for colon implants though. Seriously.

I love love love love E3, I can't say enough about it. When I first went raw this was one of the supplements that really help me get some energy.
Try it I bet you'll love it.

I love E3 live too!! In fact today I bought the Renew Blend and took some before my Capoeira class. You get the best results when you take it with water on an empty stomach. Whew I'm still going strong and feel great. I love all of their products, you really do feel that zing. I like to rotate taking E3 so my body gets a variety of nutrients and doesn't stabilize out if that makes sense. :)

I just bought some Ruth's hemp protein powder, which contains E3Live and maca,
and am eager to see if I notice any measurable differences in energy from
my usual hemp protein mix.
I've heard nothing but good things about E3Live-unfortunately the original
frozen supplement,isn't available by itself,locally,where I live.
So the hemp/maca/E3Live blend that I bought is the next best thing.
As a bit of an aside,it's cool to see another Capoeira enthusiast here on

How long have you been studying Capoeira,if I may ask?

I was told that the mint flavored variety tastes better & is absorbed better. It's the only one I've tasted, and it was alright. That was the only time I've tried it though, as a sample, so I didn't notice any effects. I'm not much help!
I love E3 Live. I just started taking it a few weeks ago and its been great. Stina, I think I must have replyed to you in the juice feasting forum. I am A negative blood type and have no problems with it. Where does it say that we shouldnt have algae??? Are you referring to the blood type diet plan??? Curious to hear more. Anyway, like I said no problems for me so far. It gives me great energy and a light feeling all over.

I just bought some yesterday and had it this morning. Crystalight I dont understnad why they would have told you to drink a shot of it, i thought it was only a tablespoon morning and night?

I took it; felt nothing different and forgot to take it since I didn't get that "zing".

About a year now. I absolutely love it! I have so much energy from eating raw that I go 5-6 days a week...ok back to E3 now

Wow!
Capoeira 5-6 days a week-sounds like fun.
If you don't mind me asking, what else do you usually eat in a day-
besides the E3live-to have so much energy?
I find that lately I'm struggling to push myself through my workouts,
since my energy is flagging.

Well as of lately I've been drinking a supa dupa green smoothie in the morning which consists of anything from dandelion, kale, collards, dark greens, almond mylk, boku superfoods, berries, bananas, msm, flax oil, hemp seed, dates, etc. Then in the afternoon I'll have a salad with some sea veggies or fat like avocado. And then maybe a light snack like a seed/sprouted grain bar, smoothie, nothing too heavy. I stop eating at least 2 hrs before my workout otherwise my energy is zapped and I feel like a whale. :p I've recently incorporated the E3 Renew Me blend back into my diet which I put about a tsp. in a glass of water and drink before class. The frozen stuff is awesome too. Wow! That really gives you that zing and helps with recovery. Then after class I'll have another salad or some fruit. I've also been looking into what Brendan Brazer eats (the vegan triathlete, he does about 80% raw). I was feeling a bit lethargic for awhile and needed to change some things up. For my body, adding more fats, dark greens, sea veggies, sprouted grains, superfoods has made a tremendous difference. I'm known as the 'hyper one' in class.:D

I have surfed a few UK raw websites and basically I would have to buy 4 pots of E3 Live (that's the minimum order) and the cost would be £112. That's approx $240!!!!
I can't justify paying that for something which may have no effect one me.
So, I did more 'surfing' and saw that there is a dried version in vegan capsules (E3 AFA). I can buy a pot of 90 caps for about £25 (approx $50).
Has anyone any thoughts on this dried version? I don't mind paying a smaller amount in order to try something but I'd rather go on recommendations.
Thanks.

The frozen E3Live is not available for purchase locally,so I would have
to have it shipped from Toronto from a raw food online store.
And I agree,it's bloody expensive!
Although,if I ordered five bottles, the shipping and handling would be discounted,
and I think they send you a six bottle for free.
However, the price was still outrageous-around the same amount as you quoted-
for something that may or may not 'work' for me-so why buy it in bulk?
I ended up buying the dried version in capsules, which was cheaper(and much
easier to ship than the frozen),however I noticed little to no change/difference in my energy levels, after taking it for several months.
I recently purchased some hemp protein powder, which contains maca and E3Live,which was reasonably priced-and I drink a hemp based protein powder
shake everyday anyways, albeit a different brand.
So,I'll have to wait to see if I derive any discernable benefits from the Ruth's
Hemp/maca/E3live blend,or if I prefer my usual brand.
I'll keep you posted.

I agree with you that's why I rotate consuming it. I may take the frozen/powdered stuff and then when the bottle's done not buy anymore for a few months.
English Tracy have you gone to E3's website? You can purchase the 3.5oz. powdered form of the Renew Me blend for $12 U.S. I'm not familiar with their shipping as I don't know if it's the U.S. only. Thought this might help you sample something at a low cost.
