More stevia questions

I'm thinking about using stevia, but I have a few questions. I'd like to get the green leaf kind, because it is most natural.

A) how much do you use (like, per month?) And does it ever go bad?

B) what does it taste like?

C) is $13.67 per pound a good deal of stevia powder? Has anyone ordered from this website http://www.kalyx.com/store/proddetail.cfm/ItemID/669616/CategoryID/12500/SubCatID/245/file.htm

A) if i have lots of honey or agave on hand i hardly use the stevia. but i find it very usefull for quick recipes, or to have on hand when I'm running low on other sweetners. Also, i use it if i've been over indulging in too many raw sweets. the stevia is great because unlike honey, maple syrup, and agave it doesn't mess with your blood sugar. my body reacts really well to it... no crazy sugar high or anything. per month i doubt i use more than a few tablespoons.

- my salt shaker size bottle expires in a year and a half.

B) it tastes really gross by itself. I think so at least. It has this weird chemical like taste to it. almost like splenda but not as good. BUT if you just add it to desserts or teas or whatever all you can taste is the sweetness. you don't have to add much 1/8 teaspoon goes a LONG way.


C) i think 13.67 seems like a great deal for a pound. i don't really know exactly though. i don't remember how much i spent on my bottle. i tend to not pay much attention when it comes to paying for high quality nutritional supplies. my body is worth every penny.
