Hello 2 all :)
Today around 2:42pm, I started soaking 1 cup of Wildrice.
(According to Alissa Cohen's bk.) pg 279.
Am I suppose to cover the rice, also
I want to soak beans do I cover as well. Also is this same method (for sprouting rice or beans, do we cover as well?
And do we change water for both rice & beans, if so how many times.
All I've done was added water, while soaking.
Thanks to all who've responded to any of my questions.
Be at Peace

Cover with Water.....Let sit for a time...pour the water off, then rinse often, not letting it dry out. Rice, cover with Water and let it stay that way for how many hours it says. I just bite into it and see how tender it has gotten.

Thanks
I appreciate your time.
Today day 2 of my soaking the wild rice & kadzuki beans.
I took a bite into them and their both crunchy.
Some of the rice started opening, and are tender, and most are crunchy.
I did changed the water for both the rice & beans.
On Alissas Bk. I followed the instructions, it says to soak them for 12 hours, this is day 2. I'm dying for some rice & beans.
I'm use to cooking rice & beans. So I was so curious. How did you eat your rice, and what was the recipe?
