Do you use tap water for sprouting?

I'm not comfortable using my tap water for sprouts. Is there a way to disinfect the water or kill microbes on the sprouts?

I do. But I feel our water here is safe to use. I have lived in places where I would not use tap water on food.

My water comes from a well. I feel safer using that then bottled water in plastic bottles.
