Hello,

I finally decided to try 100% raw today. I have been eating a lot of raw fruits and veggies with some cooked food. Yesterday after I ate dinner (cooked) I felt so crapy. SO today I decided to go for it. For breakfast I had a smoothie with frozen field berries, a banana, ground flax seed and water - it was very good. For my snack I had an apple, veggies sticks (green, yellow, orange peppers, carrots & celery). I have made a huge salad for lunch and have more veggie sticks for this afternoon. The challenging part will be tonight when I get home and my husband is looking for dinner - he is totally SAD all the way - that's usually when I get tempted. My goal is to make another nice salad, he eats that too and just have that for dinner.....any tips on how to avoid the tempation of whatever I cook for my hubby for dinner????

Im in the same boat.....awesome food you ate today. I looked at my hubby gnoshing on a plate of terriake chicken with soba noodles last night and I have to remind myself how slow my body would digest something like that. He spent the night bloated with gas and upset tummy. Think of that

That's sad for him, but a nice reminder for us! I made my partner and daughter a vegan chickpea a la king dish last night and it looked so tasty but I was sooo glad that I didn't end up trying any. I felt GREAT after a big salad and raw sweet potato.

One thing that helped me when I was first transitioning into 100% raw was to make a green smoothie while I was making everyone's dinner. I drank it during that time.

By the time I sat down for dinner I didn't desire what they were eating at all.
