i've gone kindof blender-crazy & have been throwing everything in there as of late. i really like dipping vegetables in thick dips that aren't available for eating as a raw foodist, so i decided to create my own! (for awhile, i was dipping carrots in almond butter, cucumbers in honey, et cetera. weirdo.)

this one is really good & is the consistency of like a toast-spread.

1 avocado
1 banana
1 chopped teeny clove of garlic
BLEND

i spread it on cucumbers like a cracker snack! i think it would be good on just about anything. the blender's really annoying to clean afterwards though. i'm thinking of adding a little water & spinach next time to make it drippier.

EDIT:
i adjusted it to make it a little more savory. (i didnt really want to taste the banana, i just wanted the banana-texture & a hint of the taste.)
1 banana
1 avocado
1 chopped clove of garlic
1 tblspoon of olive oil
a small handful of spinach (5-6 leaves)
a little bit of water (as much as you think to making blending easier)
BLEND

very delicious & creamy. still spreadable, but more smooth than the first try.

HOT TIP: after you blend something and get it out of the blender, fill the blender about 1/4 full of water, add a little dish soap (or not) and blend! Then take the blender container off the base, hold the top on and shake it around a bit. Rinse a few times, this really helps clean it! I'm going to try your dip. Sounds good! Will check back later! :)

Banana and garlic. Sounds as strange as avocado chocolate mousse, thought I was in heaven. I made it once in the bullet, ate the whole thing, didn't feel too well later. My husband didn't know what was in it, but didn't like it before I told him. I like to do a kale, garlic, avocado spread/filling in my little mini- prep processor.
