I just wanted to say that I've been raw for a week and a half, not nearly as long as most of you. However, I've never felt so ALIVE before. I'm an active person and I was concerned that I wouldn't have the energy to sustain my workouts, but I do, and I'm still working out 6 days a week.
I have never had so many consecutive days without being tired, my skin is clearing up, I'm not bloated. It's wonderful!
The first few days weren't so friendly but I got past that and every day it is easier to stay away from cooked food and support my choice for a healthier livelihood. THANKS!

Hi Leslieirene,

Fantastic that you are loving raw so much! I was wondering, in regards to working out, what do you eat beforehand and afterhand? At night I only eat fruit after dinner and only fruit until lunch the next day...I find that I have very little energy:< I wonder if I'm not eating the right things at the right time. Also, I work out first thing in the morning and am not hungry to eat anything just before excersising. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Heather

I'm a massage therapist and so I give alot of energy all day long anyways. My days are 10 hours long Monday, Wednesday, Friday and I only eat fruit in the morning
I usually start my day with water
eat more acidic fruit like strawberries and oranges for breakfast
then later on in the morning an apple
then about an hour and half before I work out I like to eat a banana
then I usually do weights monday wednesday friday and 20 minutes of cardio
and I was having water and a salad after I workout, but I was so concerned about muscle growth that I have a powder protein mix that I fix with 1 banana when I'm done and skip the salad(maybed you could help with that I'm not mentally feeling thats the right way to go) I feel like there is a higher raw way to eat after a workout, I've heard of green smoothies, but I'm not sure what they are.I also have a big salad for dinner
Anyways, I hope some of this is helpful!
