....Make some of Alissa's Drinks in my blender? AS an example the Celebration of Life Drink on pg 541 has 1 bunch of grapes, 1 c pineapple, and 1/2 a lemon and instructs to juice all together in a juicer. I don't have a juicer. Do they just take all of the fiber out of foods? Can I mix all of that in my blender perhaps adding a little water to mix? Has anyone ever done that? There are a lot of drinks in her drink section that look yummy, but include the use of a juicer. Was wondering if I could just blend them up....but hate to waste food on a mess up! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Sounds good to me and since all of those are juicy, I don't know if you need to add water. I don't think I'd do it in a regular blender though. Only in a good high powered one to make sure the grape peels are pulverized.

You can make juice by blending the ingredients and then squeezing the mixture through a nut milk bag.

Your right....basically the juicer takes all the pulp/fiber out. I'm sure it would taste great in the blender but it would deffinately be a whole different texture.
