What do you put on your salads? This seems to be my weak point right now.
Thanks,
Sandra

I like to use olive oil with lemon and garlic mixed in and poured over the top.
Or, try going to the recipe section and type in salad dressings and do a search. This is a wonderful one for ranch dressing (snowball's recipe I think it is, sorry if I wrote that wrong).
Good luck.

I like to sprinkle raw apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and Mrs. Dash on my salads....oh, and a little bit of Agave makes it really nice.

If you're trying to avoid/cut down on oil, like I am,
fresh salsa on top of salad greens is tasty.

Alissa's pad thai sauce is divine on salads. Makes a change from oil and vinegar dressings.

I have used Alissa Dressing from her book.....really good. and I also made the French dressing and the honey mustard. The french was pretty good, but the honey mustard was fantastic!

Fuzzywater's Asian Dressing is my favorite (on this site). If I don't use that, I use plain old Bariani's Olive Oil and Himalayin Pink Salt.

My husband and I just went to a cafe that sells some raw dishes on their menu and in the case out front they have some of their raw dressing for sale. Personally, I don't like making dressing even if it is soooo easy....I don't know why, but I don't. So, this morning it dawned on me that I should just buy me a bottle of that dressing, I'm basically the only one that would be using it anyway. So that's my plan to solve my making dressing issue.

I second Alissa's Honey Mustard...it is so quick...tangy and I just love it! I use my coffee bean grinder to quickly grind the mustard seeds....and just a hand citrus juicer to juice the lemon...it comes together quickly...Also, the Ranch Dressing...Snowdrops, I think, in this forum, is delicious too...it makes a lot which is good too. I also just love fresh lemon, olive oil and a bit of sea salt....

I am hopelessly in love with Alissa's dressing - it's really amazing.
I make raspberry vinegarette every week:
1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup of raw honey
1/2 cup of raw apple cider vinegar
pinch of sea salt
all blended together. I love this recipe and so do everyone else who eats it!
Catalina was always my favorite :). I've made this and it is beyond amazing! Minor variations here and there, I also used Kandace's raw ketchup, from goneraw, also with variations I am sure (I always lower quantities of oil). Sadly, I've been searching and still can not figure out whose recipe it is, if anyone knows, please inform me so I may give credit where it is most certainly due.

You can get really great ready made all RAW dressings from Glaser Farms, they have a wonderful selection. I know they have mail order if you want to do a search for their website. they have about 7 to 10 different and excellent bottled dressings!I get mine from Whole Foods and the market but thats because they are local to me in Fla.

My DBF and I love tahini based dressings. I like to mix tahini with lemon juice or ACV, garlic, nama shoyu and various herbs and spices. I make it different every time, or sometimes when I am not feeling creative I just find a recipe.

Normally I don't have spices but lately I have had mad cravings for spicy food.
My boyfriend got this salad dressing in his email about a week ago and told me to give it a try and see if it helps with my cravings :)
CILANTRO LIME VINAIGRETTE DRESSING
Servings:
3 cups
This is a great raw dressing that only takes about 15 minutes to make!
Ingredients:
¾ cup filtered water
½ cup olive oil (I used less than half this amount)
¼ cup cilantro, minced & tightly packed
¼ cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, raw (I used about half of this amount)
1½ teaspoon shoyu, or to taste (didn't use, instead used celery stalks)
1 teaspoon maple syrup (used a little honey instead)
½ jalapeño, seeded & minced
½ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon garlic, minced (didn't use)
pinch cayenne pepper
sea salt, to taste (didn't use)
black pepper, ground, to taste (didn't use)
Preparation:
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend well. You’re done!
I love this recipe and yes it cured all my cravings for spicy food!
