Hi all,
I get Jinjee and Storm's newsletter from gardendiet.com and they recently put up a web page concerning making a film on the raw diet.
You can view the info here:

I think this is going to be really cool. Maybe we can get them to interview Alissa. :)

This is my first time on this board - awesome board! And so its funny to see this post here. That's so cool you passed this information on here! We would love to interview Allissa. Great idea! I will be emailing her shortly about this. We've had a great response from people who want to be involved in and support this documentary. I always thought it would be a definitive raw food diet book that would really solidify this movement and bring it to the world, but now after the successes of "Supersize Me" and "Fahrenheit 911" I'm convinced its going to be a documentary. As we are seeing, documentaries can be very persuasive! We are already in production and have the attention of a major distributor, and we are having fun!!! If anyone wants to contribute ideas (I'm looking for a great title!) feel free to email me at info@thegardendiet.com
Peace,
Jinjee

If it was going to be a book though, it would be Allissa's. Its fantastic! The most professional and mainstream book on raw I've seen, and I've seen hundreds, literally.

Thank you Smasty!
By the way has anyone seen "What The Bleep Do We Know" yet?
I would love to hear your feedback if so.
I have seen the website at http://www.whatthebleep.com and it looks really good.

Hi all,
I just joined today and see Jinjee here--I just wanted to thank her as i got her e-book a few months back and it was her website that got me into raw. I did their oj fast (only for 7 days) and felt so great during and after but with all my summer company fell off and got 'cooked'. Now i am making an earnest committment through this website to stay raw. I use mostly their recipes so far as they are easy to do. Whenever i eat cooked i feel bleh! Have been 99% raw for 5 days now and trying to go 100%. Thank you to Alissa for having this huge support network--not alot of raw fooders around--i was strange enough to my family as a veg.--then i moved away!! Trying to find like minded souls...

I saw the movie 'What the Bleep?" It was really interesting... quantum physics for the layman. I'll probably rent it when it comes out so I can really concentrate on the material presented.
As far as documentary names, I think the raw food doc needs a REAL catchy name like "What the Bleep?" and "Supersize Me" in order to grab SAD attention. I'll give it some thought! Good luck with it and I will definitely go see it!!
