Nut Storage...

Hi, On the DVd I noticed that Alissa had loads of nuts stored in clear glass jars (which were nice).

yenyway, I thought nuts were meant to be stored in the fridge away from light and heat, because of the delicate oils?

It all depends on how fast you will consume them. They do have a normal shelf life but for prolonged periods of time, store the in the Fridge or Freezer........

I also store mine in jars but they are in my pantry that has a door on it. I feel like I go through my nuts enough that they don't go rancid. I've gotten to know about how much I use in a given amount of time. When I have more than I need, like if there is a great buy so I purchase more, I would then put them in the fridge or freezer. I'm sure all her supplies were on the counter for convience when making the DVD.
