Yucca root anyone?

I just bought one tonight, not sure what to do with it. The tip got broke, so I peeled and tasted it. Yummy, creamy, almost coconutty, yet fiber you cannot chew up. Oh yeah,it is on a list of foods to help RA. I think I'll juice it in the a.m.

I was excited to find the Yucca, but it is Yuca. It tasted yummy, but we looked it up, and one of the potential sides effects of eating alot of it was goiter. I guess I won't be eating it, even though it is probably safe for me. just don't want the risk.
