hey--

thanks for responses for my previous posts about zappers
just wondering if anyone knows or has any more info on exactly what zappers do--specifically, david wolfe recommended wearing it in the front at your waste because thats close to a spot where all your blood passes through on its way to your heart or something, so he said that in 20 minutes all of your blood should have passed close to the zapper and that the zapper helps to mess up the internal biological rhythm of the parasites....

but now im wondering if, given that it would be setting right close to the area of my uterus/ovaries, is there any danger of it causing harm to my eggs......? im not pregnant at the moment but would hate to end up doing something that would affect my ability to conceive or have healthy kids in the future....

does anyone have any more info or is this a base-less concern? i dont know exactly WHAT it is that the zappers "put out" as a zap, and have there been any studies done on their safety? i really want to get one, but not if its going to compromise my future children...

thanks all

kaybee

Think she means something like this:

yeah--thats what i mean ;) thing is that information on these seems SO sparse. I know you said your dad had a positive experience with them KatK, and also David Wolfe recommended them... and i have a friend who used one in the past and sometimes had luck with it and sometimes didnt...now I have seen something about a study at university of washington that possibly validates their ability to kill some parasites or bacteria or something in petri dishes, but theres no hard-and-fast evidence or clinical studies....and theres LOADS on the internet and quackwatch about lawsuits against hulda clark and zappers not working, etc.... So i just DONT KNOW what to think.... if it were just a matter of getting one and trying it and maybe getting scammed out of the hundred bucks i spent on it, I would go ahead and give it a try (yeah, a hundred bucks is alot of money to me since im a grad student, but its not the end of the world on the chance the thing actually worked.... ive been having alot of health problems that diet doesnt seem to clear up and i suspect parasites and/or candida and/or allergies, so would love to give this a shot for parasites and candida...) BUT ITS NOT JUST A MATTER OF "DOES IT WORK,", FOR ME, ITS ALSO A MATTER OF "IS IT SAFE?". ive done loads of google searches and not found anything in regards to safety, particularly safety for my future fertility.... my friend who used one said he has no idea about that and i just cant seem to find any info. its probably fine, but who knows? and i dont know where to seek info anymore....
