Sold a raw cake!

I had one of my co-workers call me to make a raw birthday cake for her girlfriend! How exciting is that! I made my famous cheesecake and decorated it super nicely!
Anybody else have the privilege of other's asking you to make something for them?? It's great!

when i worked as a chef for the local health food store deli, i brought all kinds of yummy raw gourmet foods to the deli. it was so nice to see/hear people's positive reactions. it also helped to broaden the cliental and introduce people to a whole new dimension of cooking-uncooking!

I have sold a few raw cakes and pies - including a wedding cake for this coming summer!!! I have never done that before - yikes!! I think I am going to have to make a few "trial runs" before the real thing. Trust me - the word will spread and more people will come along asking for a cake here and a pie there. Congrats!!:)
