Orchard On A Hill

Is there a possibility one can grow an orchard on a hill slope? I mean, how is that done, does anyone know? We were thinking terracing the hill.

It's a LOT of work to Terrece an area.....A TREE will Grow anywhere. I would add a pipe at the root for water to stay at the root. Plant one and see how that goes.....Have a RAW DAY.

You'd be amazed at how the tree will adapt to the hill. At first it will grow out at an ackward angle and then the trunk will bend and turn towards the sun. Some are able to adjust quicker and just grow straight up. I wouldn't hesitate to try.
