Hi everyone,
I have been reading posts for the past few days and have learnt so much already.
I started out being raw 4.5 days ago. I still have a rotten detox headache but other than that I am doing well. I have Crohns disease, and I am also obese so for me going raw is two fold...
Living in Seoul, I can't access many of the things like flax seed, cacao nibs, agavae nector.... I plan to do the best I can with what I can access.
Maybe I am the only raw foodie in theses part!?? Anyone else out there?
I have a question, I have an aloe leaf, what can I do with this?

Hi Kiwilorne!
I was in Seoul for a layover and found it very difficult to find raw food! But I'm sure there are tons of wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable markets that I just couldn't find. You will do great!
As for Aloe Vera - some people put it right into their smoothies as a super food.

I have a niece and two sister-in-laws from Korea....so the one thing I've noticed is that they like their food hot. They use tobasco sauce like Americans use catsup. I hope you can get Alissa's book and DVD. They will really help you in going raw. There is sooo much to learn and it's all in the book and DVD. I was wondering about aloe vera also because I have a plant that needs to be used....someone mentioned smoothies but I was wondering how that affects the taste of the smoothies...maybe it doesn't.

Just to let you know....I took about 2 tablespoons of the gel from one of my aloe vera leaves and added it to a smoothie....it was great and didn't effect the taste at all.

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!!! Aloe is wonderful in smoothies... (and also great to treat burns!) ;)
I'm so glad you have joined us. Is it possible to order some of the things you do not have access to online? I know Here in Hawaii there are many things that we need to order online -- and shipping can get rather expensive...
I hope you find most everything you really need though -- it will make your journey so much more pleasant!!
blessings and light....I'm so glad you have joined us!

Thank you for your very warm welcome.
I have looked at getting Alissa's book but the shipping costs are 3 times the price of the book. There is no way I can justfiy such high postal costs.
I have found goji berries at my local market! I am not sure what I could get online, I shall look into it.
Thank you again for your welcome.
