I got my first two cases in today and love them!

They have the 'stomach feel' of real pasta-- so heavy! I cannot believe they are only 18 calories a pkg!

How many of you include these in your daily meals? I swear, these things are SO good. I felt so nice after eating them...

I've eaten them for the past two days with the cashew sauce from Time4metobloom. I plan on having them again tonight. At first, I thought an entire package would be too much for one meal, but it wasn't. I'm so glad I ordered these noodles!

ooh can you post the cashew sauce recipe?

I find that they are more to my liking with nut-based sauces...

Here is the recipie.

So Extremely Incredible!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have got to try out this recipie I made up. It's the best food I have eaten in a long time.

Cashew Chow Mein

First I made a Peanut type Sauce

1/2 cup of peanut butter or almond butter
1/2 cup warm water
3 Tablespoons Nama Shoyu
3 Tablespoons Agave
2 Cloves of Garlic Minced
2 Tablespoons sesame seed oil
about 1/2 to 1 inch of fresh ginger minced
1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Add all ingredients to taste and blend in the blender. So good and out of the world taste.

Then I took a package of Raw Kelp Noodles and rinsed them in water and cut them up into manageable pieces. I tossed the noodles in the sauce which was slightly warmed from blending and the warm water. I finely chopped up fresh carrots and zucchini and tossed them in. I threw in some raw cashews for crunch. Warm in the dehydrator for thirty minutes or so until noodles are soft and tender.

They are so Delish!!! It tastes like the best chow mein ever. If I had more vegies, I would of added snow peas and marnated mushrooms and other favorite vegies. The possibilities are endless.

My teen age daughter, ate it up with gusto.

Hope you like it.

miaculpa,

From looking at the recipe it looks like she tosses them in at the end of making this.

yum! I used her recipe w.almond butter and threw in a handful of raw cashews to blend with it. I also added some green onion and mushroom to the FP. I tossed it with black sesame and arugula and chopped green onion... it is in the dehydrator right now and I cannot wait!

Not all Whole Foods sells then and can't find local in CO. I haven't look at Korean markets yet. They are low in calories I remember seeing.

No, they are perfectly brand, nice for people who have a hard time tolerating fishy seaweed, and carry a sauce very well and soften up nicely to the consistency of SAD pasta, approximately.

I love, love, love this dish. Soooo yummy!! I add to the noodle and sauce...
spring onions, zucchini, mushrooms, snow peas and carrots! It is really like eating regular noodles. I made a marinara the other day, added that to the noodles with mushrooms, zucchini, onion and basil. I always put these in the dehydrator for half an hour to soften the noodles up more. It tasted so much like a great Italian pasta dish. I am loving these noodles!!!!

This is the site that I found.

Does anyone know if these are being distributed in England? I can't seem to find any sources for them here.

Because the kelp noodles have all of the nutrients processed out of them and are colorless and tasteless I am wondering how raw are they ? Are they raw like fresh fruits and veggies or are they raw like some "raw" foods that are processed ? Opinions appreciated.

I'm not sure they have many nutrients left to them, but for me the goal is to find something that is low in calories that fits the "noodle" look.

In England:
May have distributor but may email them if they reply. It may be hard as they have to be refrigerated and from here could be quite a hunk of change.
