Help - need insight and advice

I went to see a gynecologist yesterday because I haven't had my period in 8 months. She put me on Provera for 10 days to see if I get it after that, and now my body is freaking out. I've had severe nausea and dizziness, my heart rate went up to about 110, I can't concentrate, I feel like I could cry at any second, and I'm absolutley starving. I called them this afternoon, and since my doctor wasn't in, they said they'd have another doctor look at my chart and they would call me back later. I haven't gotten any phone call, so I plan on calling back first thing tomorrow, but I'm wondering if anyone here who is raw can offer any insight or advice on this situation. I can't stand feeling like this and I feel like I'm going to go crazy.

Have you been diagnosed with PCOS?
I, too, have had very erratic & infrequent periods, but when I STAY 100% raw, they begin to regulate...just had my first one in at least 7 or 8 months...
...how are you doing with raw?

The meds side affects weren't worth it, to me...I know that the build-up in the lining of the uterus can, over time, lead to increased risk of uterine or endometrial {sp?} cancer...

...my Dr. wanted to put me on the pill to regulate my cycle, but it can greatly increase your chances of blood clots, stroke, & heart attack, &, oh yea, weight gain, & with my weight & risk factors already being high, I ain't goin' there!

I would seriously consider finding a healthier route...your body is giving you a clear message...

I know the herb Vitex helps regulate hormones & therefore your cycle...
