Hey guys,
I have been doing very well on the juice fast. ( thanks for all your help). These past couple of days I have strange cravings. I am not craving solid foods. I am actually craving miso soup , tomato soup and vegetable broth. ( very strong cravings). Funny how it is only these two:confused: . Since the juice fast I have been cooking for my family, attending lunch and dinner meetings, socializing with food, Valentines' day and not once was I tempted to eat. But I am very weak for a good bowl or cup of one of those soups. Are these allowed or alternative to kick the craving?

I hate to be Butt-Woman on the board, but do you think it would help you to do an enema, clean out the mucoid plaque that's loosening up? colon cleansing has always helped me significantly with cravings in general. I'm getting ready to do some serious Juice Feasting. Hope your fasting journey is a wonderful blessing for you!

Well aren't all these things salty? Maybe you are craving salt. And maybe that's an addiction, or maybe you need some, lol. I really don't know.

If this is the case, I would suggest juicing celery... I have a big salt addiction and I love to juice apple/celery/parsley/lime to kick the addiction.
Also, during my fast I craved soup at one point and it lasted for many days. Finally I juiced carrots, peppers, garlic, ginger, parsley and tomato... I heated it in a saucepan and used a food thermometer to be sure it did not reach 110 degrees. I then enjoyed a nice, soothing "soup" and my cravings vanished!

Thanks everyone. I tried everything you guys sugggested and was still craving a nice bowl of soup. So after 17 days on my juice fast , I caved in. I turned into a monster this weekend. so today at lunch i had a small bowl of miso soup (minus the stuff that floats on top.) trust me it could have been worst. So where do I go from here. Should i start the fast all over? or just pick up? If you can, please give me some recipes that have work for you
